Journey of all Journeys V 1.0 (revising)

JOURNEY OF ALL JOURNEYS
We all come from different, backgrounds, ideals, and set of beliefs but there is probably one thing we all cannot escape from: choices. There is a time where we must come to an agreement within ourselves, and from that point forward the future that lies ahead is inevitably connected with our efforts towards that goal. Perhaps the hardest choice for an Artist is the very main choice that will ultimately build his or her persona: artist identity.
So, what is it really to become an Artist? Do we have what it takes? Does actually only some are capable of being represented by Art? Can anyone be an artist ? And if so, what is really the journey to take to actually become one?
Unlike any other field to study Art is the most controversial. It is a field hard to even describe. Normally, if you want to be a doctor or a lawyer you decide to attend to whichever College is established to teach the field you are going for. Over time and with some dedication and persistence, you know you can benefit from your studies and become a professional. But then we have the Arts and following the same equation is hardly ever the case to master any Art you decide to go for. Such is the subjectivity in the Arts that everyone seem to have  a different take on it. It expands like a tree with many branches in all kinds of specialties, and from those there are many other sub-branches. To study only a most simple artistic skill could easily a lifetime. Perhaps this is exactly what leaves many people outside the recruitment spectrum. Art is everywhere you look at, everywhere go there it is. But only the brave can accept the challenge and risk his own life to strive. If Art could be personified and we would want to have eye contact, we would probably get blinded by it.
In this particular Article we will focus mainly in the visual arts and the journey it takes for young learner to meet with the Arts and how challenging it can get that only some are brave enough to get older and remain in it.
